Afternoon Peeps!
Well we all get it, the game slows down then freezes crashed etc. So I was just updating my backups before heading off into Ladon Land again when I thought I'd check what else was hiding in that Sims 3 folder. In there is a folder called DCBackup - full of stuff so I headed off to my trusty Google and found this article on Carl's Sims 3 Guide - http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=463.0
Basically it is safe to remove the files. So I select all and find that I have 5028 files totalling 5.44GB!!! Okay, admittedly I do have a very large amount of CC installed but 5 GB!!! :o
So, lesson learnt and now off to see if I can delete anything else ;)
Now hopefully my game will be faster than a snail on a vespa!
