A little legacy I was working on which I will be starting to write in the new year.  If you follow my FB page you may already have met our founder Keeva Adora and our 1st generation family if not, I look forward to introducing them to you soon :)

A work in progress, Matilda Lang will be telling us all about her adventures in Shang Simla, Al Simhara and Champs Les Sims.  But she has to have those adventures first!!  Keep an eye on my FB page to get sneak peeks of her travels :)

And not forgetting our lovely Pyotr who successfully reached level 10 of his career, quit his job, got engaged to the woman of his dreams and is currently saving towards his dream house.  We will be getting back to him soon  :)

Random Rant!!

Afternoon!!  I really want to learn how to make sim clothes!!  Each time I've tried I have failed to make even the most basic of meshes :( 

I want to make these!!!! (*pouts and stomps feet*)



Slow Game

Afternoon Peeps!

Well we all get it, the game slows down then freezes crashed etc.  So I was just updating my backups before heading off into Ladon Land again when I thought I'd check what else was hiding in that Sims 3 folder.  In there is a folder called DCBackup - full of stuff so I headed off  to my trusty Google and found this article on Carl's Sims 3 Guide - http://www.carls-sims-3-guide.com/forum/index.php?topic=463.0

Basically it is safe to remove the files.  So I select all and find that I have 5028 files totalling 5.44GB!!!  Okay, admittedly I do have a very large amount of CC installed but 5 GB!!! :o 

So, lesson learnt and now off to see if I can delete anything else ;)

Now hopefully my game will be faster than a snail on a vespa!

I've been working on the new Ladon world and hope to have it finished soon.  Before we get started on the next Generation with Holly & Kyle I will be doing a few short chapters on my special guest townies and the non heir Ladons.

So I have finished Simon & Violet's house (The Ark).  Pop on over to The Ladon's page to see a few pics.

It is basically an odd shaped house!

so have not put up for dowload.  If anyone wants the house let me know and I will put up a non CC version x

New builds in Gen 6 land

I thought you might like to see what I've been working on in the new Ladon world!

I built a basic starter home, just a small cheap house with the essentials added!

It is 1 bed, 1 bath and size is 15 x 10

Furnished price - 10,252

Unfurnished price - 8.527

I am now working on Simon and Violet's home.  Simon's Lifetime Wish is The Ark Builder and Violet's is Master of the Arts so I am trying to design a house to suit their needs!

It is quite a large house!! 

The garden has been designed for Simon to collect his animals.  He will need 2 of everything to complete his lifetime wish.

The house is pretty much a shell at the moment but will eventually be tailoured to suit Violet's arts needs and Simon's animal needs.



I wonder if you can get an animal babysitter?!





I have finally finished my 1st proper house!!!  Squee!!!

It is now available for download both furnished & non-furnished.

I managed to keep it all EA too (although there may be the odd store/ep/sp stuff in there) but still no CC!!!

Hey!  It's always good to get Monday out the way isn't it :)

So, as those of you that have been following Tru Sims on FB know I have had a few problems with my game of late which involved a complete re-install.  This also left me with a corrupt and very glitchy save file for the Ladons.

Not wanting to risk losing everything I decided to move the Ladon's to a new world and start a nice fresh save file.  I did, however get a little carried away and have started from scratch with a blank world!!

So here is an update on just how that is progressing and a little look into some of the amazing talents that I have called upon to make my little Ladon world just the way I want it!!

SimLau Isles Lite - My Sim Realty

Of course, the first thing I needed was an empty world.  I did a lot of searching for this and although I did find many beautiful worlds, it took me a while to settle on one.

The world I used is called SimLau Isles Lite and can be downloaded at My Sim Realty.

Next I added community lots.  Most of these I was able to use EA standard but had some trouble finding space for the very large EA stadium!  Not wanting to forfit the Athletic career, I headed once again for Google and, once again, ended up at the most excellent My Sim Realty site!!  Here I found a lovely collection of community lots and rabbitholes as well as the awesome baseball diamond rabbithole (pic above) which is only a 40 x 30 lot size but works the same as the Stadium!

And so.  With my community lots all in place it was time to find some residential lots for my simmies to make their homes.  As much as I want to build some of the houses, there is no way I can build a whole town's worth!

After spending hours downloading and placing my findings it was time to try my hand at building something myself!

After some basic community lot landscaping I started small with this beach performance area.

I am now working on this, my very first house that does not resemble a giant cube!  This is the Mountain Retreat and I will be uploading it once complete!

Now I had best get on with this little project or it wont be ready for Generation 6!!
