Hey!  It's always good to get Monday out the way isn't it :)

So, as those of you that have been following Tru Sims on FB know I have had a few problems with my game of late which involved a complete re-install.  This also left me with a corrupt and very glitchy save file for the Ladons.

Not wanting to risk losing everything I decided to move the Ladon's to a new world and start a nice fresh save file.  I did, however get a little carried away and have started from scratch with a blank world!!

So here is an update on just how that is progressing and a little look into some of the amazing talents that I have called upon to make my little Ladon world just the way I want it!!

SimLau Isles Lite - My Sim Realty

Of course, the first thing I needed was an empty world.  I did a lot of searching for this and although I did find many beautiful worlds, it took me a while to settle on one.

The world I used is called SimLau Isles Lite and can be downloaded at My Sim Realty.

Next I added community lots.  Most of these I was able to use EA standard but had some trouble finding space for the very large EA stadium!  Not wanting to forfit the Athletic career, I headed once again for Google and, once again, ended up at the most excellent My Sim Realty site!!  Here I found a lovely collection of community lots and rabbitholes as well as the awesome baseball diamond rabbithole (pic above) which is only a 40 x 30 lot size but works the same as the Stadium!

And so.  With my community lots all in place it was time to find some residential lots for my simmies to make their homes.  As much as I want to build some of the houses, there is no way I can build a whole town's worth!

After spending hours downloading and placing my findings it was time to try my hand at building something myself!

After some basic community lot landscaping I started small with this beach performance area.

I am now working on this, my very first house that does not resemble a giant cube!  This is the Mountain Retreat and I will be uploading it once complete!

Now I had best get on with this little project or it wont be ready for Generation 6!!
